Clip Guns

In the eyes of the fencing contractor attaching netting is considered the worst part of the job as it is not only tedious but it is a backbreaking job having to bend down to clip off to the bottom wire and extremely tough on the hand. After listening to the farming community; Marchant Engineering in 2005 introduced the Air Operated Clip-Gun for tying hinge joint and ring lock to plain wire and changed the way farmers and contractors approach the laborious and painstaking task of attaching netting to a fence line.

Our 1.8mm Air Operated Clip Gun has been very successful over the last seven years converting fencing contractors and farmers to this type of air driven tool so much so that many have come back to us in search of other clip-guns capable of handling both larger and smaller clips. So we have now added two more Air Operated Clip-Guns and two Manual Clip-Guns to extend our range.

We also stock clips are made from semi tough wire that have a heavy duty zinc aluminium coating that protect the clips from rusting even after they have formed a tight circle around the wire. Stainless steel clips are also available.

1.8mm AIR OPERATED CLIP-GUN

Dispenses a 1.8mm thick zinc aluminium coated semi hard wire clip with inscribe circle 5.5mm
Can use both zinc aluminium or stainless steel clips
Runs off a minimum 10CFM air compressor
Air compressor must be regulated to 90-100 PSI
Magazine holds 100 clips
Designed for attaching ring lock and hinged joint to plain wire to a farm fence

3.0mm AIR OPERATED CLIP-GUN

Dispenses a 3mm zinc aluminium heavy duty coated semi hard wire clip for the toughest jobs with an oval shape of 11 x 14.5mm
Mainly used for gabions and rock pillows but can also tie pig netting to a "Y" post at the bottom of a trench to stop the pigs digging under the fence

1.6mm MANUAL CLIP-GUN

Dispenses a 1.6mm thick zinc aluminium triangular shaped clip with 6.5mm inscribed triangle
Perfect for rabbit netting, chicken enclosures, bird cages and supporting hinge joint prior to clipping off with our Air Operated 1.8mm Clip-Gun
Runs off a minimum 10CFM air compressor
Clips are fed down the side of the tool the same as the air operated guns

2.0mm MANUAL CLIP-GUN

Dispenses a 2mm thick aluminium triangular shaped clip with 11mm inscribed triangle
Mainly used for attaching all netting and hinge type wire to the fence line
